Bullhead City Dog Park Committee
The Bullhead City Dog Park Committee, dedicated to funding and building an off leash dog park in Bullhead City, is operating under the auspices of Community Pride Advocates, a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization in partnership with the City of Bullhead City.
The City of Bullhead City has allocated an area of land in the northwest section of Rotary Park designated as the Bullhead City Dog Park.
Our goal is to develop the park providing a place where people and their dogs can play together, exercise and socialize with others.
Mission Statement
To establish and create a clean and safe environment for responsible pet owners, in partnership with the City of Bullhead City, to provide an off-leash dog park designed to satisfy the needs of the community.
To encourage and promote the education, training and recreational activities that facilitate responsible and humane dog ownership and well behaved dogs through the use of volunteers and the support of the community.
Objectives
- To better promote the health of both humans and dogs through outdoor recreation, in recognition of the human health benefits of dog ownership and companionship.
- To create a fenced-in, off-leash dog park designed to satisfy the needs of dog owners and non-dog owners alike by developing an attractive, fun and vibrant space open to dog lovers and friends who are willing to uphold the park’s rules and regulations.
- To provide a clean, safe environment without endangering or annoying people, property or wildlife where well behaved canine citizens and their owners can socialize and exercise.
- To promote ongoing education, training and recreational activities that facilitate responsible, humane dog ownership and well behaved dogs, through the use of volunteers and support of the community.
- To maintain the park in partnership with the City of Bullhead City as a community project and maintain it as a recreational asset for citizens and visitors alike.
- Strengthen community values and compliance with canine laws by promoting dog access policies and responsible dog ownership. Support conservation of open land by containing the areas used for recreation by citizens with their dogs.
